Kid Innovators

This week I am blogging on a Kid Innovator work that me and my friend did. We made shoes that can go on ice and you can turn then into skis and you can go skiing on the snow.

It took us two days to come up with that idea and about 3 weeks to make all the posters and business cards.

Gangsta Granny

 Hello again bloggers this week I am going to blog on my novel study it was on Gangsta Granny, you will have to read a certain amount of chapters and then you would have to answer 5-9 questions. Then you could do the tasks that were set for you.

It took me 2 weeks to complete the entire slide. The questions were about the chapters that you read. The way I did it was, I would read little by little and answer the questions carefully.

Creative writing

Hello bloggers this week we could choose creative or informational writing,I choose creative it took me 2 days to complete my piece, it is on how a kids dream came true and it is telling you what could happen.

This is my story

Chapter 1

Going to the shop

As Joe walked out of his house he looked around.  Everything seemed  normal, but then he saw a man in black. The man looked at Joe then everything went black. 

 Jim was shaking Joe and telling him to wake up.

 “Joe wake up now we need to get to the shop”.

 “ where” said Jo, to the shop. Then Joe got up and then got dressed and then he told Jim his dream “very scary dream” said Jim now come on we need to get to the car. On the way to the shop Joe keeped thinking about his dream. Is it going to become true like all his 1000000000000 dreams? If it does then he better get ready. On the other side of his town his friend Jake was biking to the shop to get some milk. When he got the milk he went back to his house to drop off the milk. Then he went to Joe’s house but by the time Jake got there Joe was not home and so Jake just biked back down to his side of town back to his house. 30 min later Joe was at the shop but before he got into the shop he was stopped by a bulky Security guard standing at the shop door he stopped them then he took Joe to this place under the shop floor the walls were steel the roof was steel and the door was steel the whole place was made out of steel then the guard said “ wait here kid” and the the guard walks back up to the shop and said to Jim “you may enter the shop” 

but then Jim said “where is Joe 

and the security guard said “I will give him to you later” said the security guard 

“but I want him now said Jim” 

“I said I will give him to you later!!” 

“Fine,” said Jim, then he entered the shop. Then the Security guard went to Joe who was under he tied his arms to a chair and then walked back up to the shop Joe was just sitting there thinking how he could escape. At the same time Jake was also Going to the shop will the same thing happen to him will he be trapped down under the shop with Joe.

Chapter 2

Entry Exit

Jake got to the shop and the Security guard didn't stop him He walked in and And started buying his food 1 hour later Jake had finished his shopping and walked out of the shop and he heard a yelling noise saying help Jim had also finished his shopping and then went to the Security guard and said 

“give me Joe like you said” 

“ok” said the Security guard then he went under the shop and grabbed Joe untied him and then gave him to Jim that was weird. Why did the Security guard do that ? Did the Security guard think he was dangerous or was this just the beginning. Joe woke up on his bed “what happened” said Joe

“You fell asleep in the car”

“Ok” said Joe then he went back to sleep. Joe woke up in the morning and said “what day is it” 

“It is saturday” said Jim

Then Joe came to the Kitchen and said “What's for breakfast”

“Toast and bacon” said Jim    

“Tasty” said Joe then he sat at the table “Jim why did the Security guard take me away”

“I don't know maybe he thought you were dangerous”

“how” asked Joe “it’s not like I have gun on me or anything”

“Maybe he thought something was not right about you”

“Maybe” or was this just the start of his dream was it

Chapter 3

Come true

Joe knew that his dream would come true because most of his dreams had come true in the past few years but this, this was one that he had never seen before he was going to die any day now he was trying to change his destiny could he. The next morning Joe asked

“Has most of my dreams come true”

“Yes” said Jim

“Do you think that my latest dream will come true”

“Maybe” 

“Well if it does then I better get ready”

“You should” said Jim

Epic Rotation

 Hello again bloggers this week I am going to be blogging on my maths Rotation work it is on how a shape or object can be Rotated and the turns like a counter clockwise turn or a clockwise turn and the type of degrees the shape will be rotated

 It took me 1.30 hours to complete the slide you had to figure out how much to turn it and then put it on the 4 Quadrant graph have you ever done rotation in your math group? tell me in the comments below. 

  

Amazing Transformation

 Hello bloggers this week I am going to blog on my transformation work that I did with my math teacher the topic of transformation was on translation on how a figure can translated from one place to another.

I found it very fun it took me 1 hour to finish the translation slide and most of the questions were very hard.

My Position & Orientation work

 Hello again bloggers this week I am blogging on my Position & Orientation work that I did with my maths teacher it is on learning about the compass and doing little tasks that involve compass directions and finding north south east and west.

I took me 30 min to complete the slide some of the questions on the slide were easy and some were hard in this slide you might learn how to learn the ways of a compass.

My Scientific Investigation

 Hello again bloggers today I am blogging on my Investigation on a science experiment I had four jars and 3 of them had a type on liquid the liquids were lemon juice vinegar and salt water and one of them had just a normal apple in it. We were seeing what apple would last longer before they grow some mould.

We had to leave the apples out for about a week and we would take a photo every few days and then put them on the slide I have the photos on the slide.

Hello again bloggers this week I am blogging on my biteable on food molds and how long it takes , what can happen to you if you eat food mold and how long food lasts on a shelf and tells you what food would be good for a long time.

It took me 1 day to make this biteable it is a 1 min video about food mold it is interesting and helpful and
can help you learn a lot about food mold and why you would not like to eat food mold and what it can do to you. 

My Fraction Maths

Hello again bloggers this week I am blogging on my math work that I did in lockdown it was on fractions work of how you add fractions and subtract fractions and timesing fractions and ordering fractions and turning improper fractions into mixed fractions.

It took 1 week for me to complete some of the work on the slide, it was hard and some of the work was pretty easy to finish. Has your maths teacher ever gave you a fractions slide? here is my fractions slide that my teacher gave me. Have a good look at it and it might help you with fractions.

MY BITEABLE

 Hello again bloggers. Today I am blogging my work that I did at home because of lockdown it is made on a biteable and it is on Tinirau and his whale it is a short video on a maori story it is most set on a whale and two maori people.

It took me 3 days to make the biteable I also had to screencastify my voice over the video so you will hear my voice talking the words that are in the biteable. It was hard to make the video but I got it done.

Hello bloggers. This week I am blogging on my cybersmart work that I did with our hubs cybersmart teacher. We learnt not to copy stuff of the internet and use it as your own work and that you can take stuff of the internet only if the owner has given you their permission to copy their work.

It took me 30 mins to complete my cybersmart work that our cybersmart teacher gave us and it had links to sites that have pictures that you don't need permission from their owner to use.

MY WEEKLY INQUIRY WORK

Hello again bloggers,  today I will be blogging on my Inquiry that I had to do this week. It is on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Olympics sport that my topic is on is surfing and why and who added it to the Olympics.

It took me 2 hours to do the slide I had to put in a lot of facts about that sport it was very hard to put all the facts in and I put as much facts that I could.

My amazing maths work

This week I am blogging on my maths work that my maths teacher gave me this week. It is on all the types of lines, and it took me 3 days to finish that slide that my maths teacher gave some of the work in the slide that she gave us was easy and some of the work was very hard to complete.

The slide is based on the parts of lines and different types of lines hat some lines go on forever and some lines have a certain distance.

 Hello again bloggers this week I am blogging on my literacy work that I did I Miss Smiths literacy group it took me a 3 days to complete this doc it is on a famous piano artist that stared his piano when he was three years old.

The piano artist and his name was lang lang and he is a is very good at the piano and he has played lots piano over his life.

 Hello again bloggers. This week I am blogging on my literacy work that I did in Miss Smiths literacy group. We had to make a plan before we made the poster. We had to write some facts in our books before we put it on our plan on our devices. 

It took me a few days to finish my plan and it took me 30 min to finish my doc we had to make the poster on a google doc it would have to have to have at least have 4 paragraphs and 2 paragraphs for each topic I did my doc on banksy a anonymous graffiti artiest  and he does his art in the middle of the night read my doc below to find more.

My amazing maths work

 Hello again bloggers it's me Victor. This week I am blogging on my maths work that I did with Mrs Kerin. It was this slide on volume ,area and perimeter. She gave us two slides to finish and I finished both of the slides that she gave me.

It took me 3 days to finish both of the slides that she gave me. Some of the questions that she gave us on the slides were very hard to complete and some of the questions that she gave me were easy.

My amazing literacy work

Hello again bloggers. This week in Miss Smiths literacy group we had to make a slide on a musical instrument from a country. We had to put in a lot of information about that instrument and what country  that instrument comes from 

It took me 3 days to make this slide. The instrument I did mine on was the didgeridoo and that it comes from  Aboriginal peoples of northern Australia. I also learnt how people play the didgeridoo and that only men can play the didgeridoo and women cannot.

My maths work

This week I am blogging on my maths work that I did in Mrs Kerin's math group. It was a maths slide on length,area and perimeter. My maths Teacher made the slide and we had to fill it out. Some of the questions were hard and some were easy but I managed to finish the slide in 4 days. 

My goal was to get finished in 5 days of the week but I got it finished in 4 days of the week. Have you done a maths slide that your maths teacher gave you and how long did it take you to finish the slide?

 Hello again blogger it  is Victor again  in writing last week with Miss Smith  we did a topic about a famous person or a famous thing or invention that was made by someone.

I made it on a famous person  and the person I made it on   Sir Edmond Hillary climbing to the summit of  mount Everest and  that he was the best tramper in the world. It has lots of facts about Sir Edmond Hillary. The slide that I made  was only 3 slides long  it took me a week to finish the whole slide it was very hard to make but I got it finished in the end of the week. It was very fun to do I think you should try it sometime as well you will like it very much
